Hey guys, I have a quick question. Who amongst us here are veterans? I'm a Marine, I EAS'd in 2011 and I served one five year enlistment with two deployments and I do not rate a combat ribbon. My enlistment was average and relatively uneventful, but the whole ordeal want by any means easy. I did the typical Dumbshit Boot thing and got hitched young. By now I've been divorced 7 years and just about lost my two children. I do see them, but its un-necessarily difficult. I'm also broke in the process to the point of being invisible and irrelevant to other women and monetarily I'm TFL.

I understand that government, especially ours is comprised of many factions and my political orientation is well into the minority. I know my service contributed to some "Greater Good" but with the way people are acting lately politically speaking, and with the motivations of our government, politicians and businessmen both on right and left, I'm really beginning to feel that I was taken advantage of. Women and government have become weaponized against the very men who carry the country on it's shoulders. I feel that the vast majority of government is predatory against people like me.

Who else here shares this sentiment in relation to my service? Who else feels completely used and disposable?
