I think the wage gap is hilarious.

Uber already did a study on the wage gap and found it to be complete bullshit. In the study, men and women made the same amount of money for their distance and time spent driving.

Men always made more money because they drove more hours at more lucrative (night) times and learned their markets. Women were more likely to drive only during day time hours and work part time. There is no pay difference, there's a work ethic difference.

Assuming us men do make more than women do, it's because we risk a lot to do so. We work hard and risk our lives every day to live good lives and to contribute to society. And we are still expected to pay for dates. A given in other times but a risk nowadays.

And as for women's lifestyles being more expensive, again, they had men supporting those lifestyles. Nowadays, if they choose paying $20 for a single pair of panties instead of six pairs of decent underwear for $1 less like most men do, that's their choice. It has less to do with a "gender pay gap" and more with lifestyle choices. And again, us men are thriftier by necessity. Because unlike women we won't get sympathy when we lose our jobs.
