Unpopular opinion, but i don't think women are cut out to be LEOs. So many times the women either get easily tossed aside or fall back on the men to do the job. Tonight's episode was yet another example; male cop pulls up on a guy who begins resisting, female cop comes in and basically starts nagging the suspect while trying to subdue him. All the suspect did was barely push her aside and she's out for the count with a sprained wrist while the male cop had to run down the suspect.

I respect those who are willing to put their lives on the line for us citizens, but I'll take a male LEO over a female one any day of the week.

I'm not white knighting here. But as an LEO.. it doesn't look good when you use force. Ever. If you use force on a woman, you're inviting backlash. With it being televised in live TV, you're asking for even more.

Even if you do everything right as a cop, the court of public opinion can cost you your job. Not worth it.

A woman isn't as likely to be an unarmed threat. I have all the time in the world to talk her into cuffs. Cops are only allowed to do what is objectively reasonable. So immediately snatching up a 180 pound dude vs snatching up a 100 pound female.. one is gonna be more reasonable than the other, considering I am 220.

And it's less paper work to use your words.
