Boomers can barely hold onto what ever power they have. They havent kept up with technology nor worked on any skills or self improvement. I find that once you stand up to most boomers they run away in a whimper. Its all show and posturing with them.

A pretty ungrateful and entitled generation. Rode an economic wave which may not be repeated for decades or possibly 100 years. They often had double digit wage growth per year and the jobs required little expertise by todays standards. Real estate prices doubled or trippled for decades yet a lot of them are broke in their old age. They refuse to understand this world they built works and just throw younger people under the bus instead.

Boomers never retire either, I find it's a big reason the younger generation is poor. Boomers refuse to downsize. I see a huge glut of nicely refinished and upgraded homes on the market for cheap coming up in the next decade

For a generation who experienced unbridled prosperity in real estate, financial markets, and technology, it’s hard to believe how many of them turned into greedy little vampires, who are willing to sell their children and grandchildren as slaves.

Seriously, for a generation who is so in love with Star Trek and Sci-Fi, how do you care so little for future generations?

Surprisingly, most of them are broke. Explains why they demand socialized health care, “we deserve it, we put in our time!” - meanwhile little Johnny is going to spend 200k on college, purchase the boomer home at a rip off price, and then pay into SS and never receive it (all assuming he gets a job).

Throw in the divorce industry, third wave feminism, and destruction of the nuclear family just for fun and sit back and watch the fireworks.

Damn millennials, they’re ruining this country with their entitled attitude.

The decline of America is real. Don’t expect a generation who grew up believing Disney love stories to fix it. They’re too busy acquiring social media status and fighting over Cultural Marxism.

I may be wrong, but it seems to be the age of decadence unless there is a massive spiritual revolution. Man, I hope there is a revolution because blind hedonism is no way to live, at least from a male perspective.

I bet at least 50% here would return to the plantation if there was societal level enforced monogamy. There is no such thing as a strong society without a strong family unit, with a man at the helm. Can’t do that if the nuclear family is deliberately being destroyed.

Third Wave Feminism is a cancer that is destroying men, women, children and America. You think China gives a damn about feminist ideals? MGTOW isn’t just a response to women, it’s a response to this country’s femininely retarded laws.

I noticed is when boomers are young they are RUTHLESS in the corporate world but once they are old they are "secure" with themselves.

When we're young (all of us) we expect to set the world on fire with our ideas and ability. Some of these boomers did just that. With youth comes abandon, extreme self righteousness and a somewhat lacking self consciousness and awareness that we're all humans.

When people get older they become far more aware that they were a piece of shit in their younger days. They acted badly, treated people badly and didn't take responsibility for their actions and the repercussions of them.

So older people aren't nicer, they are just often more aware than ever before what a shit they were and are trying to make up for it by changing themselves. It's not security, it's regret and an attempt to make amends for it, mainly for themselves. So still, self centered, but usually nicer.

I don't think it's fair to lump them all together.

Imagine making a 40 year plan, to have a pollution free Earth and when it fails the world can blame the millennials for not following through.

What is known is that somewhere along the line we stopped creating things that would last 50 years for things that would last >10 years.
