Men are a class of people who are being targeted as evil. I'm sorry to say this, but it's like being a jew in Germany during the Nazis. It's like being falsely accused. The facts don't matter. Hope is one of those pointless emotions that society has told you is good and useful. I don't believe in hope, hope doesn't buy you anything, tangible or intangible and allows people to be complacent, waiting for a miracle that will change a situation that is most likely not gonna change. Hope, in my opinion, is for the weak. Instead, you take action.. What are you hoping for? Women to miraculously change their behavior, society to suddenly start stuffing feathers in your ass?M Do what you can do to make yourself a happy man.. Don't get stuck in hope.. The hope is your health, personal security and financial independence. That's a lot to strive for and is actually achievable without an anchor (aka "wife") around your neck. Good luck!

I can relate man, to have given up but still look ahead. I dont like to say I've lost hope as it sounds cliche and triggers people, instead I briefly explain how I no longer expect anything positive from this life that I myself didn't make happen.

Bad things on the other hand happen regularly, consistently and without end. I've been able to endure the curve balls thrown at me so far, but it would be naive to assume I'll endure the next pitches just as well.

Ultimately no one gives a shit about me or my life, thats fine, but if ever anyone does think of me, its about my usefulness to them.
