It's in the name. We are going are own way. The negative posts regarding women is what's called the red pill rage phase where those men are awakening to the true nature of women, and the anger which seemingly is directed at women is also inwards to the men who have allowed themselves to fall for it. There's more to it, but the real journey is what your own research and discovery teaches you about your experiences. Past and present.

I would say that's closer to accurate. But I would also point out, one of the ways the sub functions is to remind men, whom have an instinct to search out female sexual partners, that it just isn't worth it given the current societal relationship paradigm and the common attitudes of women towards those relationships.

So there is some significant time spent highlighting those negative societal paradigms, and those destructive female attitudes towards healthy male-female relationships so that men have a counter balance to the voices and quite frankly their own instinctual inclinations telling them that opting out is the wrong thing to do.

I'm sure you understand, women have forums that complain about men for their mutual support all the time. That's not to say (most) such forums want the eradication of men. I'm frankly surprised you even suggested this.

We don't hate women. We understand them. We understand that the vast majority of women have a nature about them that follows a predictable path and always, ALWAYS is contradictory to what is in the man's best interest. It doesn't matter whether it's their fault, it's not their intention, society bred them that way etc....

What matters is that it is there and because of that, MGTOW decides not to participate. When you read all of the stories of divorce rape, false allegations, cheating, taking the kids and just the lunacy that comes out of their fucking mouths who volunteers for that? A lot actually.

You can't relate to anything I'm saying (you actually can but don't recognize it) because you haven't taken the red pill. Do that and your question will answer itself.

It's the latter for sure. Mostly we just want to be left alone and most of us are tired of hearing feminist bullshit and also sick of seeing feminist bullshit in movies, on TV, hearing it in music, seeing it on the Internet, etc.

Some guys here legitimately do hate women. Typically that's because they're in the red pill rage phase or they're righteously indignant about shit that women have done to them in the past. Some men here have been dealt a really shit hand by women, divorce, family court and society at large.

This is basically a place for likeminded men to come together, commiserate, swap war stories, discuss life and politics, and share our lives as independent men. In a certain sense, it can be considered a triage for the male spirit. We learn from eachother, teach eachother, and remind eachother. We're tired of feminism run rampant and sick of masculinity being seen as toxic, barbaric or disgusting. There is no one 'poster-boy' or 'figurehead' for MGTOW. No one person's opinions and leanings and statements can speak for everybody. You'll see a lot of anger and perhaps even hatred here but it doesn't reflect on the entire ideology.

There are several links in the Sidebar which will describe it and elaborate and explain it better than I ever could. Pretty much, my sum-up of it is: We are acutely aware of how shit a hand men are dealt worldwide. We are not happy about it. Feminism is a movement with a goal of superiority, not equality. Most of us have had dealings with women in the past that have caused us great expense and pain and risk. Thus, most of us choose to not have extensive dealings with women any further in a relationship sense. Some men here go a step further and have almost no interaction with women outside of a work environment. Some men here still have short term relationships, others are completely cold turkey. The basic tenet is to never marry and never put yourself in a position of vulnerability in regards to women.

Women are not a species.
We just want to be left alone.
We want to educate other men about the observable nature of women. No one here hates women and no one here wants women dead or hurt.

If you want to witness someone who does hate women and does wish women harm, may I suggest you visit an incel sub or an incel website. This is not the place for such things.

The truth is, we have a lot of members. It would not be possible for any one of us to speak on behalf of all our MGTOWs.

But, the gist of it is like this: We believe marriage is not worth it. We also avoid cohabitation("living together") with a woman. This is about the two things almost all MGTOWs believe.

Some of us believe we should avoid any and all contact with women(sexually and other). These would be "Monks"?

Some of us believe women should just be used for sex. Pump and dump?

Some of us believe women are capable of being friends, and even lovers, but we should never "commit" our lives or finances to them.

Some of us believe women are genuinely evil personified. I like to believe this is a minority. They are loud, vocal and pretty much hate women openly. Yeah, whatever.

Now, you might be thinking "Why?". Well, it is simple. Marriage is too risky. The way courts work, men end up losing custody, and having to pay alimony. We end up facing false abuse/sexual assault charges. We get #PoundMeToo'd for trivial and oftentimes non-existent or outright fabricated reasons.

We are a collection of men who have been "raped"(figuratively) by divorce judges in open court. We are forced to pay and sustain the lives of women who were once our wives, but then cheated on us. We pay for children we never wanted, while women are hailed as "pro-choice" for killing them. Or maybe we pay for our beloved and dearly treasured children, but never get to interact with them while their mother tells them lies about us? We are the ones who had false sexual assault/rape cases levied against us. We had bad romances in the past. We are the ones who grew up observing people around us in bad marriages, oftentimes our fathers. We grew up in single mother households, and realised they were toxic. We are the ones who rejected the notion that "grow up, find true love, get married" was the 'endgame' of life. We cared, supported and loved women who we later found out were with us only for our money. There is a reason the phrase "he lost his job, his wife divorced him" is commonplace. We decided enough was enough.

Are we victims? I have no idea. Are we fed up of the whole "relationship game"? Yes. It is a weird game, where the only winning move is not to play.

Eradicating women is stupid , MGTOWS prefer to avoid them because we see the social , legal, and political power that women have now over men and how that power is used in abusive manners across the board.

The reality is the best way to not be abused is to avoid women altogether where you can . Don't have to worry about being destroyed financially by divorce , alimony, or child support when you avoid women . You don't have to worry about false rape accusations and being imprisoned or ostracized by a potential liar if you avoid women .

In fact we argue that a man can not just avoid being abused but truly fulfill himself at his best in his own presence or among other men .

There's a lot of anger here towards women because many of us have been abused, disappointing, and frustrated by interacting with them . I personally think this is good though , we rarely if ever allow men to genuinely air their grievances with women and this is a space that encourages and embraces that.

Women can be terrible people too and we aren't afraid to say that and encourage men to become amazing on their own .
