So Spartan women enjoyed all the freedoms women do now AND they were educated in music, philosophy and poetry and stayed physically fit .

That would be an improvement, at least I wouldn't have to be surrounded by a bunch of gender studies educated land whales.

All of that is horse shyte. Complete and utter horseshyte and never existed how she frames it. Look at women now, literally pushed ahead of men and I still don't see admirable women out there. I see women learning shit and just regurgitating the same shit over and over, I don't see them doing revolutionary things like men do. I don't think a time ever has existed where women haven't been vapid thots and cheaters overall.

Real Spartans were the high class free citizens of Sparta, who were the elite then. Most people in Sparta were in fact either unfree slaves, or farmers and other menial workers. In fact, it was only around 300 Spartans fighting the Persians, but together with thousands of unfree slaves and low class citizens, who weren't counted as "Spartans".

And Sparta drifted into obscurity over the centuries, among other things because of low birth rates. Meanwhile Athens flourished and became the center of civilization for centuries to come. In Athens men were default heads of the household, could vote and women were married of young compared to Sparta.

Somebody edited the wikipedia page on women in ancient sparta. So here's a quote.

According to Aristotle, "...the Lacedaemonian women defeats the intention of the Spartan constitution, ..." (Aristotle, The Politics of Aristotle).[50] The wives of the Warriors of Sparta would gain the estates at the loss of their husbands. Some would have very large places and some very small. This caused the transfer of property to the few. With the men constantly out to war and the women at home to run the estates the population started to diminish. Aristotle argues "The result proves the faulty nature of their laws respecting property; for the city sank under a single defeat; the want of men was their ruin" (Aristotle, Politics: Book 2).[50] Aristotle in many ways admired the Spartans' way of life: he viewed their idea as good, but doomed to fail.
