Yeah, it's pretty fascinating to see the differences between my apartment and the nearly identical one just in front. Mine has very little decoration, just 1 or 2 things I like, whereas the other apartment who belongs to a woman has literally hundreds of useless goodies.

Women come to my home and always make the comment of me having nothing on my walls. While my place is done tastefully - anything i'd want on my walls costs hundreds of dollars and I can't justify that.

Teachlead made a video about this today. Men don't need much space to be happy, even when they could buy a mansion. You are doing your hobby probably in one place, be it playing guitar or gaming, or painting models etc. Big houses are for families and people with a lot of pets and willingness to clean that all. And don't forget: wanting to pay for heating so much space.
