As a psychiatrist I would like to point out that the American Psychological Association is the red headed step child of mental health.

Their diagnoses are not recognized by the medical establishment and are often considered wanna be quacks who couldn’t become real doctors.

The American Psychiatric Association (the real APA) are the ones that publish the DSM which is based off of statistical analysis which doesn’t have touchy feely junk diagnoses like toxic masculinity.

Most pshychologists out there are wahmen. My last therapy experience was with a female therapist, smoking hot bitch btw. She got divorced (Ha! No kidding) and became a single mom.

The purpose of therapy is self mastery. You must master your mind as you would your body in the gym/kitchen. If you do not master your mind, your mind will go on autopilot based on its default. A default, that by definition, you did not set. Master your mind, change your default.

It's incredibly frustrating that the institutions representing psychoanalysis and self knowledge will become perverted by SJW, liberal bullshit. A new generation will come up only knowing therapy as indoctrination and will risk throwing the baby out with the bathwater when they wake up to it.

Keep track of how your mind works, document everything about what you think and feel, identify patterns, especially in your negative reactions to things. Start turning the tide through CBT and meditation. Psychology is far bigger and more important that SJWs, please don't reject it outright because of these ass clowns.

I think we need to define “traditional masculinity” before we decide if it’s bad, because a lot of conflicting traits are given to this nebulous ideal.

And for the love of god, all men (myself included) need to stop having such fragile masculinity. A real man doesn’t need to posture, or get aggressive to establish his “alpha status” or prove he isn’t gay. A real man doesn’t tell everyone he’s a real man. He just lives his fucking life, and doesn’t let others define what his masculine level is.
