The biggest reason for the hate, in my opinion, is they fear what goes against the norm. Let's face it, we've all been raised with the doctrine of growing up getting married and having a family. MGTOW. goes completely against that.

The InCell comparison is also pretty common, and that's because a lot of posts in the sub Reddit have the "red pill rage". This can be construed as hatred towards women. The truth of the matter is, there is a lot of anger and frustration here, but those are part of the five stages of grief. True MGTOW. men get over it and are able to move on with their lives; they strive for self actualization.

Instead of calling yourself MGTOW., just call yourself a self actualized person. If they look at you weird, just say "I take validation only from myself, and not from outside sources." If they still look at you like you're funny, just say "I don't see the point in trying to better myself simply for the admiration of another person." Don't even mention women in your argument.

People feel threatened. These are interesting times, and they try to tribe up like herd critters...

Also its like people who get angry if they think somebody isnt paying taxes like them.... rather than realize that taxes are too high, they want company in their misery even if its forced....

Its a personal choice bias. They decided to be stupid, so they think everyone else should have to be stupid too.

Also, marriage has long been considered a stabilizing influence... These people are way way behind the curve. Marriage is probably the least stability possible now.
