Hello fellow mgtow,

I worked hard and paid off my car and small condo and now can survive on about 700$ a month. I am about to graduate with my CS degree (at 29) and I plan to work in that field because I honestly enjoy it.

People call be stupid because I don't want to be a project leader or a manager (ever) and I just want to write software and minimize paperwork and leadership responsibilities.

My question is this: Is it abnormal for me to want to just do what I like and not take promotions that will make life miserably humdrum and complicated? Why the fuck should I try to get a position that pays with 100k a year when a position that pays 65k will let me literally piss away 55k a year.

ps: I will never leave my one room condo no matter how much I make, and I will never go into debt again no matter what. No GF and never will, no kids and never will. Currently all I do is hang out with (male) work friends (currently a laborer) and do class work.
