A few months back I was dating a woman 3 years older than me. Being the weak man I was, I decided to ask her to be my significant other. As expected, before she ghosted me, she gave the reasoning that we at different stages of our life and our age will be detrimental in the relationship. So I decided to walk away no questions asked. Subsequently I came across this subreddit and tried to absorb as much knowledge as possible.

Fast forward at a tech convention, I coincidentally bumped into her mum who was a security officer. Funny enough, her mum was the one who did a bag check on me and I tried to be polite and greeted her accordingly. A few days later, I received a follower request from her so I decided to ignore it. In a moment of weakness, I click on her profile and ahoy ahoy I went down the rabbithole of bullshit once more. I felt like I was back where I was few months ago. To my surprise, she is now dating a younger dude now. I realized she just wanted to get my attention online after my encounter with her mum.

I immediately deleted all my social media and went ghost. I also realized social media was a waste of time anyway. I ain't gonna let a hoe screw around with my head and seek more validation online. I've been spending my extra time wasted online on learning more developing tools and reading. Thanks MGTOW, I almost relapsed.
