In this sense it is the best deal the buyer (i.e. him) can get) with no means for the seller (i.e. her) to carry on charging him further down the road. Prostitution puts an absolute price on pussy. Although sex-trafficking is real, it seems to be reduced to a more manageable level in the countries where buying sex is legal. EDIT: I took a look at the research article posted by emceechrist, and upon reading its introduction, it seems that what I say is true for at least European countries.
