See, I believe these modern times are going to hurt women eventually. I was reading Vinland Saga, a manga about vikings, and one of the women wanted to go out to sea with the men. The old man was seriously against it. What didn't surprise me is that the old man didn't tell the girl that it's about facing a brutal and merciless killing force and that if women were to die in the battlefield too, they cannot make anymore soldiers.

If women can be manipulated into thinking being obese is fine, being a single mother, and so on is fine. Just imagine what female super heroes are going to do. It's no secret that male super heroes inspire boys/men.

I like the old Carol Danvers, meh. I haven't been following her story since they changed her, no idea if Captain Marvel is still the source of her powers. This kind of new shit just doesn't interest me. Well, this post interests me since I've had an issue with all the crap they've been changing in the comic books, but not enough to really get into it.

Reading Doomsday Clock right now, which is interesting though.

I have no problem with female superheroes.

If we can imagine a man being able to shrink to the size of an atom or able to destroy a planet with a punch, it's not unreasonable to imagine females doing the same within that universe.

That said, I don't care for gender swapping ala Thor and I don't really like the modern sjw nonsense seeping into everything. But oldschool heroines like Wonder Woman and Danvers are cool with me.
