Bizarre how they are busting their asses to push wimin as a good companion and marriage as a good lifestyle, but to no avail. People grew up with fucked up moms and sisters, they won't make the same mistakes they suffered from in their youth. With the rise of internet and social media, it’s easier to see who they are and what they do. Plus most men are speaking up more and more about why not to get married. Younger men are not stupid...unless they can’t control their hormones and get screwed.

Yes and no. Yes, "love" became more relevant. Why do you think divorce rates skyrocketed? Because the magical prince, the eternal love and "happily ever after" exists only in fiction. You will get bored of your partner 5 mins after the first sex or 5 days or 5 years, it doesn't matter how long it will take, it's guaranteed to end, it's simple psychology and biology. Problem is that most girls are stupid and gullible enough to believe this Disney bullshit while they grow up and are so brainwashed and braindead when they're adults, they still expect the "perfect prince" and the "perfect Twilight love" and when they don't get it because these things simply don't exist, they start to bitch and whine, the "love" element is gone and therefore the lawyers are very happy because the divorce rates are through the roof. Because marriage is based on love, innit? Hah...

And no - marriage is still and always will be an economic arrangement. In fact even more nowadays, it is a binding contract legalized by the government and one of the parties involved is getting a very short end of a very short stick (I'll let you guess which one). In fact this contract is so strict that if it is terminated and one of the parties cannot provide the severance package to the other, said party goes to jail (I'll let you guess which one). So please don't pretend that modern marriage is only love and kisses and cuddles and there's no economic element at all, just happy hours, fluffy bunnies and kittens. Because you're fucking lying.

So here's your first clue. In fact the only clue you need. The economic "benefits" (if any) in a marriage are vastly outweighed by the economic losses you will inevitably suffer and the guaranteed devastation in case of a divorce (only for one of the parties, I'll let you guess which one). So why the hell would I ever want to risk destroying my life under such negative conditions? If you want to lure me back to marriage, you have to do it with honey. You just keep pouring vinegar and you wonder why the flies are not coming back...
