At least she came around but damn why was this even an issue? When you meet a man without discipline do you know how happy he gets to become close with someone who does? Maybe it's just me, but I always wanted to get fit and never had the right amount of discipline. Then I became friends with a ripped guy at work and now every Monday we go to the gym together and he gives me the greatest work out of my life. I still go the rest of the week on my own, but having him there once a week gives me the push and reminder and knowledge I need to make those workouts worth ti.

I was able to be consistent for several months at a time in the past, but I never pushed myself that hard. I thought I was, I thought I was pushing myself to exhaustion, but it wasn't until he told me 'you could have done two more' that I suddenly understood it. We talked about how being at the gym was better than at home, you just seemed to be able to push harder, do more, and the same was true when you had a friend around... but you can also just do better.

Now I actually feel sore on my independent work outs. I Went from that quiet gym guy to someone who grunts and yells because he is actually pushing himself. and the results have been amazing after just two months. And it's all just because my friend is disciplined. All I have to do is follow. That's all it takes.

And we don't even live together. I'd be a lean fucking monster already if we lived together, followed his diet, etc. yet this bitch has to take a whole year to catch up with her husband,

She's just scared he dumps her for a younger woman. Thats all. Because thats what a woman would do if the roles are the other way around. She would look for a higher quality man if she lost weight and he didnt. Just projecting.

I lived this with my ex. She's going crazy cause he was her beta and now it's apparent he's an alpha. Her hamster is in overdrive and she's afraid that he's going to be getting offers from other women now that his number is going up while she is hitting the wall.
