Never mind mate I know it's a cliche but we're better off without them.
Personally I find myself much happier at work (noticeably so; people have commented on seeing a smile on my face while I walk between classrooms) and I feel like a breath of fresh air has entered my life.
Still sharing custody of the kids until they hit 18; after that I'm off for greener pastures (Kids are welcome to come with me if they want. Son has already indicated he wants to go; daughter wants to go but doesn't want to leave mum by herself.)

Sure. If you have any value for your own well-being I would leave this garbage dump of a subreddit. I know it’s supposed to be men that are better on their own and I would assume that it begins when you realize that you don’t need other people in your life to be happy. BUT instead it’s flooded with men who are sooooo desperate and pathetic that they just can’t stop whining about women. Sort by ”top” on any given day and I assure you that almost every post will be about how bad women are instead of good you, as a single male, can be. I don’t indulge in the women hate on here but I agree that you don’t need a woman in your life to be happy. I think that's mostly newer guys who are really bitter. Probably plus a sprinkling of longer term MGTOW who were hit really hard in the divorce.
And it's only natural to talk about what brought you here and why, IE women.
I don't really think it's a garbage dump either. There's some really good stuff and ideas being tossed around while in the course of complaining about why we are here.

I agree that I’m a new user (1 year maybe?) to this sub but to me it has never lived up to it’s name. Why should we be proud of going our own way if women are these vile creatures that nobody should want to be with? Take pride in having come to the realization that you don’t need a woman in your life, but then don’t spend your time whining about women. Possibly some of the guys really HAVE gone their own way... which includes no longer coming to MGTOW.
So just as MGTOW attracts a constant stream of new members, there's a smaller stream of older men leaving as they really embrace it plus no longer feel a need to talk about it.
I actually found TRP first. Then one of the guys on TRP was making fun of MGTOW and calling them "losers who have given up on sex" so I came to look and found a lot that I liked.
I still think TRP is valuable too and I think it's a shame that some TRP and MGTOW seem to want to attack each other. To me it seems we're just men at different stages; some are still playing the game, others have already finished and moved on (I bought the home, had the kids, had the divorce and I've finished playing now...)
I wasn't taking it personally.... just interested in understanding your reasoning.
