Good evening gentlemen,

I've been going my own way for a about 2 years now and prior to that I repeatedly tried dating until I was red pilled enough to see it was pointless. This all started after my divorce about 7 years ago. Currently, I find myself really wanting nothing to do with society in general. I think I may just be slowly becoming depressed and this is really the only place I feel comfortable talking about this sort of thing. Once you see through the facade and realize relationships/marriage are really only about an exchange of money /resources for sex and supposedly companionship it changes your view of society in general. Other than a few blue pilled friends who are on the plantation I don't have any friends who share the same viewpoints I do. Even when around friends or at work all I hear about is who's keeping up with the Jones' and where wifey wants to go on vacation for the fifth time this year. I really don't give a shit about any of that. Back in my married days I would have probably been happy to talk about this crap but not anymore. I'm happy just to retreat to my home after a long week of work and I don't even really want to leave the house all weekend. To me my home is the only sanctuary I have and when I'm here by myself I can truly relax and find peace. I do well for myself financially and sometimes I feel like I should go out and do anything I desire instead of living frugally and stacking cash. But on the other hand the peace of mind and benefits of pursuing financial independence cannot be underestimated. I know if I wanted to I could easily find a girlfriend but it would mean wasting time and money on someone who most likely would only offer sex and occasional company. I guess what I'm trying to say in all this is I feel like an outcast stuck in a boring but extremely stable life. has anyone else ever felt this way and was there anything you did that helped you?

Thanks for reading
