Men are usually dumped months before women actually pull the trigger.
That is one area where their cold semi logical brain takes over.
Because they leech off men they know if they come out at the time and dump him they are financially fucked hence the monkey branch. They hold onto the branch they are on while grabbing the next one.
That is why they seem to be able to move on so quickly, they already did and just didn't tell you until they were sure their backup will work out.

If someone breaks up with you you're supposed to dwell in sorrow? I mean if you were really, really in love I get not wanting to just replace them with some random youre not into nearly as much but that person clearly didn't feel that way about you so it was never going to work.

If you break up with them obviously you don't want to be around them so why wait?
