I am from Mumbai, India. There are a number of woman working in my workplace with the same designation as me and we all get paid the same but however when there is a workload and you have to sit late to meet the deadlines, woman are not made to sit a lot late and they are told to leave early and then we end up doing our work as well as these woman's work.

A lot many times the woman generally take sick leaves by using false menstruation reason during heavy workload days to avoid work and we generally have to work extra to compensate for the same. I have been granted only 3 sick leaves in the last 2.6 years whereas the woman end up getting 2-3 sick leaves a month.

I have been made to come to work when I was literally in the worse shape suffering with a very high fever and cold, my sick leaves literally ends up getting rejected and they feel no sympathy for me when they see me working in such bad situations. I literally ended up fainting once in the workplace due to sickness.
