So yes, have something objective, an email, a text, a picture, some injury, where you were when it happened, what you were wearing so that the authorities can find corroborating evidence/testimony.

Of course, none of this helps when rape is only an opinion and not an act. So you have to take a woman, prone to lying about everything under the sun for reasons ranging from mental health to about a million other reasons, perhaps you can understand why no one believes you out of the gate. Men are just as likely if not more likely to not report than women.

The lack of reporting is not polarized between the sexes.

Framing it as a man Vs women is absurd.

And it’s not your a liar till proven honest. The fact that we investigate cases is proof of that.

If people thought you were a liar, their wouldn’t be investigations.

The actual axiom is more like “ we don’t make decision’s that ruin people’s lives without concrete evidence”.

Either way you have to probe something, in the case of a male, you have to probe he is guilty, and in the case of the female, she has to probe that she is honest.
