I dont doubt that the smell of the person that supports you financially and emotionally can make a woman feel better.
Unfortunately, a guy smelling his gf just means that she's trying to get close to ask you for something.

I believe it, the human brain has olfactory receptors in almost all regions, and smell is I believe the strongest in relation to memories. Also, women are much happier and feel better when they have a partner so it would make sense that the sense of smell of one's boyfriend would reduce anxiety/stress.

I once forgot to unpack an extra backpack I had stuffed with clothes from spending 2 weeks at a gfs house. Inside was a sweater I had worn several days because it was cold. It wasnt that she even wore it.. it was me wearing it a few times there.
It still smelled LIKE HER HOUSE, full of Polish apple pancakes and other food she had cooked, the hardwood floors of that place and just overall how a russian/polish house would smell. ON A PIECE OF CLOTHES.

I feel like there's some basic science here, that has nothing to do with relationships and your brains ability to connect 1 of the 5 sense to a happy thought or time.
That releases endorphines?
Like when I smell biscuits, or burning tires it reminds me of a happy time in my life and helps me in that moment?
I'm not a neurologist or anything but yea
