Shop around. Avoid a class that’s just as stated above, an excuse for women to show off. But a personal yoga practice is GREAT for flexibility, mental resilience, a calm & concentrated baseline. Used to be you could find DVDs of classes... bet you could also find scores on YouTube. & keep your eyes out for the occasional course offered for men— “Yoga for Stiff Guys” or some such. If you’re having no luck, I’d also recommend Tai chi. Usually there’s a better gender balance in those classes & it’s equally challenging & beneficial.

You don't have to talk to the teacher. The dude yoga teachers are likely (but not all are) gay or heavily soy'd so there's that hill of beans.

One of the male teachers would always call me his "bathroom buddy" around the chicks because we talked in the bathroom before a class ONE TIME.

Might be best to do the yoga and beat your feet out of there.
