I'll echo the other "myself" here, but I'll explain; I have always been MGTOW, as far back as I could remember. However, I also suffered under the societal delusion that I should be pairing off and marrying.

Needless to say, these two perspectives warred within me. On the one hand, I heard how we should treat women equally. And that made sense. But then I learned that I was expected to give them all this free shit during the course of the mating process ( and beyond ) , and I could never rectify that against the previously mentioned equality.

Long story short, I remained single because I was far more rational than gullible. I stuck to what made sense, which has always been MGTOW. Even when I didn't understand what I innately understood, I stuck to it. In this way I have always been my own MGTOW model.

I really don't know. There are many men who I'm looking up to and inspire me. It helps me in finding ways to forge my own identity when I can see how those men forged theirs.
