You should consider going into the transportation industry. You could be a truck driver, or you could work on a ship that transports goods. Either profession will provide you with really good money and solitude.

I was diagnosed with GAD some time ago, though for me it is descriptive of some of the expected symptoms of other medical conditions I have, like Hashimoto's and adrenal hyperplasia. If you hadn't already, I would check for medical conditions that might be contributing to your anxiety as such, as it could be something you could fix/manage without resorting to psychiatry. In any event, I've decided, barring ever being able to afford or receive consistent medical care to manage the severe anxiety, that I am just not cut out to function in regular society and will be living off-grid or low-impact just as soon as I have saved up the funds.

I have considered maybe trying to get a remote IT position to help support/supplement said lifestyle in the future, as I do know how to code and ostensibly there won't be much face to face interaction with people — though I've got no idea how stressful it is. So that is an option if you have some IT or programming savvy.

Another possibility is stocks/day-trading, but unless you have a financial advisor, you really have to know you stuff there, and, unless you go low-risk bonds and such things, you have to be prepared for the stress of essentially gambling money.

I otherwise am considering starting my own aquarium/water garden maintenance business and only work enough to cover taxes on the land I'd like to eventually buy and/or odds-and-ends of other expenses. So starting your own business with a model/task where you don't have to have too much interaction with people is enough possibility.

I think the best career choice would be an electrician you could very quickly get your journeyman's card and take jobs that do not put you in contact with any nagging or complaining women.

The biggest place to avoid in my opinion would be the office environment that is the most misandric and female toxic environment I can speak of... even normal men I just holding your tongue until the day that they can retire it's like being married with 400 wives you're just hoping you make it to retirement

Fix your GAD so that you can live life to the fullest, instead of looking for a crappy job to accommodate your GAD. Sounds harsh, but that’s the truth. Yes, there are ways to treat anxiety.

99.9% of minimum stress jobs are low-paying.

I just read your other post. You’re 28 and never worked a day in your life?! I assume you would be homeless without your parents paying for everything. Jesus, man. Sometimes I feel like this whole mental illness thing is overly used in western society. In third-world countries, people just work to survive—come hell or high water. They make no excuses at all.
