I went to the doc, explained I wanted one. He asked, you absolutely sure? I said, hell yes. Made the appointment for the following week. total piece of cake. Walked over a mile that evening. No pain, no discomfort. No negative side effects, no changes in orgasm, libido increased! I slept GREAT that night knowing I can't get sperm jacked and legally robbed for 18 years.

I got one back in '98. Took about half an hour. Even though the doctor numbed the area, it still felt like my nuts were in a vice. After it was over with sigh of relief. Side effects: every once in awhile every year or so I would feel a little pain in my groin. Not painful pain, but annoying pressure. Just enough to let you know it's there. Once I got back into working out, it seems to have gone away. I haven't experienced it in a long time.

My friend got a vasectomy and his wife still got pregnant. As far as I can tell they don't work. The only thing that changed was the color of the baby. Maybe the Doc snipped the wrong pipe.

I had one back in 2008. The procedure itself took 15-20 minutes, tops. I was standing up when they did it. Cost me $1000 as insurance didn't cover it (yet it does cover women's reproductive procedures). I had pain for a solid week. But that was because I didn't listen to the doc and I mowed the lawn the next day. But, even that pain wasn't terrible. Just a constant dull soreness.

I got a vasectomy almost 20 years ago. No side effects. No long term issues.

Just be aware, you will probably be expected to shave clean, and my Doctors office told me either I do it or their nurse does it. "Yeah, I got It !!"

It's a bit of a weird/uncomfortable feeling as you have stubble while the hair grows back. Don't say you weren't warned.

I'm on testosterone replacement therapy and thus sterile. If, in a worst case, my balls just accidentally shrink to a pretty small size or even disappear - I don't give a fuck, I get testosterone from the outside. As a joke, do not take it seriously, a man who injects testosterone and physically has no balls is absolutely 100% sterile and has a well working dick and really good muscles.

After 2-3 months of taking exogenous testosterone your testicles stop producing sperm. Still, you need to check this with a doctor, i.e. to check that you shoot blanks. Some rare people are not sterile after that, but I would consider it a 5% chance.

Also I can return everything back with HCG, when injected, it forces your testicles to work on full speed ahead so you can make a woman pregnant within a month or two if she is also capable. Btw, women take HCG to get twins sort of naturally, it significantly increases the chance to get pregnant. So if you see how your woman takes HCG - guess what is she planning? Twins!

I am really happy this way. Well, if I ever want to stop being horny all time - I would just take Deca. It rises the prolactin level and makes a dick always soft. While testosterone alone makes me horny all time, to me it is awesome.

Had one at age 36. Best decision I ever made. I don't sleep about but even so, the peace of mind is worth the very minor discomfort of the op. My op healed within 3 days but I couldn't go condom free for 3 months after as you have to have 2 clear test results a minimum of 2 months after to be sure it's taken. No side effects at all I'm Happy to say.

I got my vasectomy at around 30, a couple years after my daughter was born. Best $5 I ever spent.
