Since I am young (18), I still live with my parents.

Reading this sub, learning about this community, and seeing female behaviour in real life (both of women my age and older), I have decided to never marry, cohabitate or have children.

However, my parents are really, well traditional, and they say that the purpose of life is to reproduce, and that every person at some point in life wants to reproduce.

And I know that they are partially true, many people just get to the age when they suddenly want children, and yes that is biological, however, we as humans are intelligent enough to defeat our biological urges.

But the main problem they said is that choosing not to have children is egoistical, and I know that you will say that the reason they are saying that is because they just want to be grandparents, but I know them, and I know that thats what they truly believe.

So I wonder what can I say to them to make them understand? I don't want them to feel like I am an egoistical disappointment
