I'm crossposting this~

I'm not sure if this belongs here since my Captain and I aren't married and don't plan to, but I'll try anyway~

My Captain and I have been together for six years and recently we adopted our first child. A boy. He is seven years old. We were fostering him for several months but decided to adopt.

I've been raising him full time and I love him to bits. Though I'm 24 and this is my first child that is officially mine and not a foster. I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can to prepare him for the world. I spend several hours a day with him and always help him with his homework. We read to each other. I'm trying to bring stability to his life which has otherwise been the furthest thing from stable. I feel like I have a good grasp of things and I can see he has improved so much since we fostered him and then adopted him. Well...My captain officially adopted him, my name isn't on the papers.

Any general advice on raising a boy of his age? He's going to be raised redpilled but I want to make sure I'm pacing him. I guess one specific thing I'd like other opinions on is when to reveal to him certain redpill truths. He already knows that Santa doesn't exist and all that. We aren't religious so none of that to dispel, though we still teach him about those things and will accept him no matter what he chooses to believe in.

He is interacting with girls at school. We send him to a public school and decided against homeschool. It was a tough decision. So he is interacting with girls and I want to make sure he is ok when it comes to that. There is one girl who I feel is taking advantage of him a little by asking him for things. He's only 7 so I don't want to flood him with too much too fast. But I don't want him being taken advantage of even at such an early age.

Besides that question, any general advice
