A lot of the feelings you are describing are common and “normal” but loneliness is certainly going to be exacerbated in the middle of a world wide viral pandemic.

That being said, if you are suicidal, you should seek professional help immediately. Not tomorrow, not after lunch.....now.

I have gone long periods in my life without women. My first phase was in my early to mid-20s which was the worst., My longest period was in my mid 30s when I was overseas and this phase has lasted 2 years and I have had to entertain the idea of not only will I never have sex or a relationship ever again but for that matter I might not really know the touch of other human beings outside of a handshake or if I pay for the privilege either by massage or a sex worker.

I’m not going to sugar coat it: It can really suck at times and the loneliness of this existence (if I allow it) can be absolutely soul crushing. I am also in a position where it would be easy and quick for me to commit suicide.

Simply that you’re here and talking about it is a good sign. I know you’re depressed but you value yourself and your life. Otherwise you wouldn’t be talking. So please hear me out as someone who has feasted on the very same despair that you’re dining on now.

You need to find meaning in life outside of female validation. I am not kidding about this because if you don’t you will die either quickly by your own hand or slowly through a descent into addiction and substance abuse that will shorten your life dramatically.

Understand this about women: They are not the nurturing and supportive force that they claim to be. They’re not the kind of people that will be there for you when you’re down. They’re extremely self-centered outside of their own children and many men here will testify that those that have had women in their lives for prolonged periods of time were abandoned when times were tough and kicked while they were down.

That sucks, but that’s life and we can’t change them. We can only master ourselves. And the only way YOUR life is going to have any meaning is for you to master yourself as a man.

Life is a journey and we define our value and meaning as men through our struggles, trials, tribulations and battles. We are the soldiers of this world who understand that joy within the battle itself is every bit as sweet as any victory that comes from it.

The Vikings understood that win of lose, life or death that the true blessing came from taking up the battle itself in a fierce joy that allowed entrance into Valhalla.

And women are never there during those battles. This is something you must understand. The only time they come around is after the battle is over in order to share in the fruits of a potential victory. That’s it. So please understand this as a man and about yourself,

Your true meaning comes from the battle and preparation of it...and not the victory or any woman who seeks to assign herself as a prize within that victory. Find meaning and joys in your labors itself as a man because this is something that NO ONE can ever take away from you! Ever!!!!

Do you understand what I am trying to tell you?

Your life is a gift based upon the odds of the universe. Of all of the billions of planets and solar systems YOU have not only been blessed with life but the ability to rationalize and contemplate life. As a living creature you have the ability to ask why.

Do you understand what kind of. a gift this is?

My advice: start with activities you enjoy that are in no way, shake or form supported by female validation. Social media, dating apps and even porn are and can be soul sucking for this very reason. If you have addictions (no judgement) seek to master them. Please reach out to family and friends and if they aren’t available seek counseling.

And understand my brother: Your life is a gift.

And it’s not worth throwing away over women. They might be a prize, but no prize is worth that.

I haven't had feelings for a woman in almost 8 years. I haven't had sex in about 5. Today women are a vague thought in the back of my mind. I'm to busy concentrating on my own survival. If I had a woman I would have to worry about hers too or lose her to the competition (someone who wants to pay for her). Not having a woman is a hell of a lot easier than having one. I'm easy to take care of and satisfy. A woman is not. It sounds to me like you really want the love of a woman (which doesn't exist). To that extent your thinking of checking out. Seek help for this issue first. While your getting help go on match.com and get a girlfriend. Take her out to dinners and on vacations, buy her and her family gifts. Then notice how she spends nickels on your dollar to finance the relationship. You mention this to her and she's back on match fucking somebody else. You do this enough times and you will come running back to MGTOW. Because you will have what alcoholics like to call...a moment of clarity...circa Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction.

That's messed up. You're still living and longing to a group that does not want you. And that's where your really getting hit hard.

When you're truly standing on your own two feet, you don't need all of that. You have too much invested in things you can't control or really have, and that will eat you alive. As they say, you can't control others, but you can control you. That's why you need to give all of that the proverbial middle finger and go your own way.

I can tell you right now, the media in the form of movies and television can create all of this. Everyone makes such a big deal. When in reality sex and relationships are actually a distraction to your real life purpose. It's like a drug that's not even fun to take. You can't see it from these others, but most people who even have some are not happy.

This is where you need to focus on you. Hating your life is coming from a bad place. Think about what makes you really excited. If you find yourself thinking it takes another, you have some work to do. A lot of young men in generations past would be forced to spend time alone. It slows the mind. For us guys getting over society, most of which is toxic, it's like fasting to body. Start moving what doesn't work out of your life.

After some time just alone in thought, start going on long walks. Try to make walks go further and further. You will think about stuff. It doesn't come overnight, but if you focus on what drives you, your mind will start telling you things. Maybe it means working out more. Maybe it means getting some education. Maybe it means taking some risks, and trying some stuff. Once you find that which you can challenge yourself, you will get out of this funk.

Suicide is often a way your mind is screaming for change. Most people just want end what is bothering them. Not actually doing it, but I will say if your beginning to fantasize different scenarios, you better seek real help. That is a dangerous path not easy to pull out of of alone. I have been there and your setting your mind and soul on fire. The more you go through that, the more you seem like you need to make it happen. That's a dark place you don't want to be.

Sadly most of our modern society is pushing many to that brink. Again, don't take living and dying that seriously. Take what you really like and strive for perfection. When you hit that, you will be pushing away others who want to take that from you. That's why it's powerful if you can stand on your own two feet. Not many can do in this age, and wait for others to do it for them. But again, modem men don't do vision quests anymore. From that spirit of be, know, do. Most are sadly lost.

I think suicide is an epidemic among men. And it is changing demographics also, where men in their 30s are killing themselves much more than used to. I dont have the numbers handy. Most men are not MGTOW and have never heard of it so no I think there is no correlation. It would be interesting to see if men in the community killed themselves Less than those not, as I suspect would be the case.

Some food for thought, with All the medications, All the Tony Robbins types, All the gyms, All the CBD oil, All the answers out there, the suicide rate and the rates of depressions continue to rise. None of it is working.

I can't tell about the community, but I can tell you a big portion of your problems comes from you seeking validation in other people's eyes, especially from women. It's evident your self esteem is revolving around them. Once you'll learn to rely on yourself, your bad thoughts will melt like snow under the sun. Learn independence, learn to fix things, even small it doesn't matter, learn to cook and to keep your place clean, learn to take care of yourself in term of nutrition, grooming, clothing and health. Especially do what you like, explore yourself. One fine day, you'll suddenly realize you haven't been longing for women's approval from a good while.

You dont owe anything to anybody, society would had watched you kill yourself, therefore, you dont owe anything, you are free.
Live your own life on your own, not for a ''meaning'', just live your life on your own, with the happyness of a kid playing but as an adult of course, theres no meaning theres no goal theres just fun to be had on your own by your own at the present moment.

Not that I know of. I’ve never had a problem actually talking to / getting dates / etc. with women either though. I frankly am just disgusted at the conduct of modern society in regards to dating, marriage, and sex and chose to not partake in it. Though if you are suicidal man, let me just say its not worth it. You have one life on this earth and you owe it to yourself to make it fucking grand. Thousands of years lead up to your birth, believe it or not. No other genetic and historical combination could have created you, there is a reason you are here. I know you’re smart because you’re on a MGTOW forum (lol), so use that head on your shoulders to find YOUR goals, purpose, and happiness. Don’t rely on what these fake people do or think, they aren’t happy. They’re “happiness” comes from artificial dopamine kicks like drugs, alcohol, sex, and social media “fame”. Love yourself bro. You deserve it, and you can’t expect anyone else to if you don’t. You think you’re ugly? You’re probably not. I promise you that proper exercise, dress, hygiene, and confidence can go a very long way. It is actually a fact that a confident aura will make one more attractive. Become your best self, and settle for nothing other than YOUR ideal life and self.
