Even if both are conscripted, just look at your own workplace, if there is a real war that needs real cannon fodders, take a wild guess who would be prioritized? If there is only one troop that can retreat, take a wild guess who would be prioritized?

Gynocentrism is all you need to know. I stopped worrying about politics long ago. People find ways around the system for their own freedom end goal.

ERA

Redundant. The equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment already states this. We should be enforcing that amendment.
The ERA was defeated by women when it was acknowledge that the draft would apply to them if it were passed. Of course the selective service already violate the 14th Amendment, but the corrupt Supreme Court, particularly the right-wing members, just outright lied and pretended that it doesn't. Recently a federal judge undid their bullshit.
If the ERA were passed, it would not be obeyed as written. Instead it would be used inconsistently and contradictory to discriminate against people on account of sex. I'll leave it to the audience to figure out which sex would be discriminated against.

The same thing as #3 happened with Title 19. Whether you are for against Title 19, the mandate of that law is that no matter how inconvenient it is, a school has to provide sports team for both genders if they are already providing it for one and single member of the other gender wants it. The typical example is a school has a boy's basketball team and a single girl also wants to play basketball, then either the school has to form a girls' team or has to allow the girl to play on the boys' team. The entire justification behind this is that not even a single child should be denied the opportunity to play a sport because of his or her gender.

When the one time a boy wanted to play some sport in a school where there was only a girls' team, the school gave him a big f'you. He sued, and the courts did not uphold his Title 19 rights because that law only applies when girls benefit, not when boys do. I say any judge who refuses to uphold the rights of a person as required by a law should be disbarred. The law must apply to everyone or no one. We all have the same rights.
