For me personally, being MGTOW means no marriage, no cohabitation, no children, no LTRs (Long Term Relationship), no STRs (Short Term Relationships aka "Dating") if I can pay for it upfront, no paying upfront if I can do without it. But I'd say, a good half of the guys here draw the line at the LTRs which are not fun anyway.... In short, draw your line at the point where you feel uncomfortable with the Brazilian State which will protect his bride EVERY TIME. Know yourself and know your risks, bro. Good luck!

In Brazil, 6 months of cohabitation can hook you up for lifelong alimony.
There are no prenups.
Although there are three options to choose the 'type' of marriage contract... There was a guy here, who said that his ex-wife's lawyer still managed to screw him over in divorce by convincing the judge to change the agreement.

Becoming MGTOW is your personal decision. Continue to date, as long as there is no possibility of law getting involved.
Because if it does, in any form... you as a man will be screwed, no matter who is right/wrong.

For me MGTOW is understanding the pros and cons of dating, cohabitating with women. Thus, knowing that currently the cons far too outweight the pros then decide to draw the line to not get married until it gets better. Out of that, MGTOW to me is also a lifestyle, which is to revolt again culture norm, to focus solely on what you want to achieve in life, as for me to become a master or my own craftmanship.

It's different for every man, but the one common theme I've been able to extract from the ideology is self-protection. Ultimately it's about not placing yourself in a situation where you risk losing your livelihood or freedom based on someone's lies. In this case, women's lies which they are encouraged to tell by a system that collects a percentage of the proceeds chasing the allegations.

Thus: don't marry, and don't cohabitate. Ever. Everything else is negotiable on an individual basis, but these two tenets should be absolutely adhered to to take the two biggest bullets out of the gun pointed at all our heads.

Red pill is the first step, adapting your lifestyle according to the MGTOW Philosophy feels natural at some point. Because you can't undo the things you've learned because you at some point truly accepts the world for what it is, how women are and your own worth.

MGTOW is not only about women. It's becoming the man you want to be and to be truly free and fullfilled. No other human being then you can accomplish that.

There are of course a few golden rules the defines being a "MGTOW" for example:

- Never get married
- Never get kids
- Never cohabitate with a woman.

The rest is up to you really. If you wanna date women, sure. Date them. But it's always a risk.

As the years go by you start realize that even sex declines in value.

I actually want children, but refuse to have children if it means divorced parents.

So, what is a marriage? It's when you decide to start a family. You meet a woman, get to know her. You discuss your goals in life, and create a plan to achieve those goals together. Then you make sure that you will tolerate each others values and beliefs. If everything checks out, sign a pre-nup and get married.

Now... finding a woman who actually says out loud that she wants to be a stay at home mom when the kids are born is almost impossible, but that is what they'll do if you marry them.

Here's what I do:

-I date women

-I'm honest with them, but being as gentle as possible

-I don't let them move in with me

-I tell them straight up what I want out of a marriage

I'm still trying to find an honest woman. I'm starting to think they don't exist. As long as you accept that you're going to get screwed over if you get married, then you can get married.
