This is my first post on here ( always lurked and used the info here to better myself and my fellow Male friends).

This year instead of resolutions for the new year ( which everybody obviously breaks), I decided to accomplish small goals that leads to more goals that in turn leads to a better way of life and fulfillment.

In January, I swore off fast food and since then I have felt better and have more focus with some extra gas money in my pocket

So while I'm off the fast food, I wanted to start another goal to challenge myself, so I downloaded the couch to 5k app and started today to see how far I can go. Little about myself - 41 overweight( 320 pounds, 6 foot). I used to work a physical job working on machines and doing alot of walking. But last year I got switched to a basically sit down assembly job and my weight skyrocketed. After looking at my old pics and seeing the ones I took new years eve, this spurred me to start making these changes.

The Couch to 5k is pretty simple and upfront. You get a 5 min warmup and cool down, in the middle then process have you do a 1 min run+1.5 min walk and you do this 6 times. It starts off just enough so you can start building stamina with over exerting yourself. I downloaded the free app but they have programs that you can do an 8 week challenge,.but they programs for gaining a runner's body,.weightloss or expanding to do a 10k. I personally will use this as to build up stamina and regain cardio, but if I get to the end of this and feel that I could do a 5k, then put that as another challenge to complete.

Thank you for letting me humblebrag about the goals I've set and accomplished. And I wish y'all a great day.
