Who are you?

We are men that subscribe to the Red Pill (TRP) philosophy of sexual strategy, and in particular, applying it in a marriage context. This sub was created independently in mid 2014 to address the growing need of an outlet for married men to discuss marriage life outside of /r/relationships, /r/deadbedrooms, and other similar themed subs, because those don't work. Here we discuss our issues and look for solutions, instead of whining about it.

Wait, I thought TRP is against marriage?

Most of us are married before we have heard of TRP, and as a result, are trapped in one. We are not proponents of getting married in today's society, but we are proponents of staying in one. In short, we make do with what we have.

OK, what do you do here?

Consider this our mission statement: Our goal is to help newly unplugging men trapped in loveless, low-sex marriages, or who are generally unhappy with their marriage. We are pro staying married and reserve the "next that bitch" solution only for extreme cases.

Are women welcome here?

A dedicated post about this issue can be found here. TLDR; You are welcome to observe but only post if you truly think you will add value to the topic. If you're not sure, don't post. A dedicated sub for women can be found at /r/redpillwomen.

Posting Guidelines

As our sub grows, the quality of the content has been declining lately. While this is to be expected, I attributed it to a lack of proper guidelines as to what constitutes a good post. So here are the basic rules. Note that this list only covers the bare minimum and our mods have the discretion to remove posts (or ban users in the extreme cases) as they see fit.

  • Be familiar with TRP concepts before you post. I'm not going to reinvent the wheel here, so I'm going to refer you to the sidebar content from /r/theredpill as a start. One of our mods has also compiled a useful list in our sidebar that you would be wise to go over first. Please don't make us explain what dread game means for the hundredth time.

  • Basic grammar skills. We're not expecting anyone to write long essays here, but have some respect for yourself and not write like a 5-year old.

  • Formulate your arguments intelligently. If you are asking for advice for a particular situation, be specific and provide relevant information. "My wife won't suck my dick, what do I do?" is simply not acceptable.

  • Concern trolling, or any type of trolling, is grounds for immediate ban. Ad hominem attacks are not welcome. If someone's post strongly disgusts you, it's on you to provide a solid argument explaining why, instead of calling someone a beta bitch.

  • If you do not agree with our methods, you are advised to leave, instead of feeling the need to call us out. Note that you are a guest in our sub and you must respect the house rules. Genuine discussions about our methods are welcome, but they must be backed with sound arguments. Calling us misogynists is not going to work (just to make that extra clear, we're not).

TLDR; Use some common sense.

Edit: New users are required to subscribe before they can post. This is required to deter impulse trolling from visitors.
