Big ups to BPP and the rest of the mod team for doing a spectacular job and keeping MRP's vision as we expand. I'm a lurker nowadays, but every time I check in, I'm pleasantly surprised by our team.

Head mod here. Do what you want. Treat it as a contract, the terms are shitty for you, but if you agree to the terms, go ahead and sign it. Once you sign it though, you should honor the terms. I did not create this sub to tell people what to do. I created a place for discussion. Mods are not here to guide your hand and teach you what to do - we are more like janitors, we remove shitposts and try to keep this place clean and tidy. There are no guidebooks to follow. What worked for others may not …

Reddit's management really dropped the ball on this one. I think I speak for our mod team that we all provide our moral support on the big subreddits deciding to go dark, and the huge number of default subs going dark has sent a clear message to the admins.

Obviously each woman undergoes different behavioural changes during pregnancy and there are no hard rules regarding dealing with it. I guess I could start the discussion with my own example. My wife had horrible reactions during the first trimester, smelling any food would make her throw up, couldn't go near the kitchen, felt shitty all the time and we went sexless for 3 months. There was really nothing much I could do to help her, and I was also frustrated as hell because I wasn't getting any. …

Both sides need to stop ad hominem attacks here. Discussions can get heated but they need to be civil.

For me, the definition of marriage is strictly monogamous. What the OP has described is more in line with an open relationship, because if both parties have different partners, what makes it different from just TRP? You're spinning plates, she's having something on the side as well. I'm not criticizing you here because if both parties are happy with the arrangement then all is good. But polyamory is playing with fire and sooner or later, one of you will have sour feelings towards the arrangement…

I want to make this clear first of all: Mods are here to moderate the forum first and foremost. What we say or promote is not necessarily the right course of action for you, and it is certainly not the gold standard. What works for BPP may not work for you. You have the right to disagree, and BPP has a right to defend his post, provided that you substantiate why, and you have done that here. We are all grown adults and let's keep the discussion civilized. Always be critical of what other people …

I'm not going to tell what people should or should not do in their marriage because everybody's situation is different, but for me personally, when I got married I made a vow to stay faithful and only love my wife and that's what I'm going to stick with. If the OP is not attracted to his wife and it is a deal breaker for him, and he knows for sure the wife will not change for the better, then if I was in his situation, I would try to amicably work out a divorce. Then again I would do all it befo…

While TRP itself is not against marriage per se, some core strategies become invalid, such as spinning plates and "gaming" or PUA methods. So we want to be more specific when we discuss strategies that work in a marriage context, such as self improvement, frame, and dread game. We've also always acknowledged that married / LTR red pilling is playing life on hard mode, which was the title of the original stickied post.

Hate to break this to you, but I believe it was the alcohol that made her follow through with the awesome sex, not so much you. We're also going need more background info (what's this context with counseling?). Also, you're working with someone with a lot of baggage so this is not going to be easy. You also need to work on your paragraph and phrasing a bit, it was hard to digest.

Rather crudely put, but the advice is solid. Remember, desire is non-negotiable. Either you give it to your lady real good or you will risk someone else doing it. For the not sharing details part, I guess there isn't a good way to approach her about it, since you don't want to let her know the fact that you were listening. But if she talking to her former lover is an open thing between you guys, you could let her know that you do not like that. I for one would not allow this kind of thing to go …

Do you really need someone to tell you to "listen to how she feels"? Why RP is so powerful because we don't sugarcoat things. If your marriage is having problems then it is solely your fault. You need to fix yourself. You don't need to pay someone to tell you that.

In the words of Walter White from Breaking Bad, this is firmly in the "tread lightly" territory. You have big balls my friend. Can't imagine what you went through in your marriage that led to this.

Not sure if I agree with level 11. I would like to have some faith in humanity that men are moral and would not knowingly cheat on their wives. If things go FUBAR, by all means leave her, but having a mistress on the side is simply being dishonest, to say the least.

All very good points, I agree. We do not discourage women from posting here, as long as they have something useful to contribute. So far no one has been abusing the privilege, so I feel no need to set in hard rules yet. Of course that is open to change should our situation call for it. Fellow Christian here. The bible is actually very RPish. Some choice verses include: Ephesians 5:22-31 1 Corinthians 7:1-5 I'm not saying that you should push those verses to her face to demand sex; that's not gonna work. The bible says you are the head of the family, and she should respect you. Slowly over the years you have grown complacent and as a result she does not respect you anymore. Realize that all of this is your fault and can be fixed. Put your mind in the right frame, then holding f…

If I was to wager a guess, 10 years is the magic number because that's when couples usually have kids and the wife is usually "stressed out" taking care of the kids and are too busy to have sex, while the man is in mid-30s / early 40's going downhill from his physical peak and developing a beer belly i.e. lowered SMV, as well as the fact that once you've been together for 10 years, there's simply nothing exciting in the relationship anymore and everything is reduced down to routine. Women loves …

Emotionally cheated? Boy you're in for a rough ride. There's something called trickle-truths, and it is likely that she hasn't told you the full picture. Are you 100% sure she hasn't physically cheated yet? Regardless, if this is already happening 2 months after your marriage, your relationship has major problems. If I were you, I would explore my options (i.e. divorce) right the fuck now, this is a major red flag. Assuming you don't have children yet, this is still salvageable.

Thanks for sharing, very motivational. His description of the wife arguing a separate point to lure him away from the actual issue reminds me of Bill Burr's bit on arguing with women. You could have irrefutable logic but as soon as you slip up, get emotional and call her names, you lose. The best way is to not to play the game.

This is what I do: I open a separate checking account that is linked to my main account, and every month I deposit a monthly allowance. We both have a card to that account. This means that 1) You are in ultimate control of the finances 2) You can have your own account without being scrutinized for every purchase. As always, ground rules are easier to set earlier in the relationship, whereas for you now it would be immensely difficult to implement without some serious backlash from her. You need …

Solid post. My rule about traditional roles are simple. If I bring home the bacon, don't make me cook it too. I can bring out the trash and do some heavy lifting, but house maintenance and cooking is up to her. Having 100% control of the finances is important as well, I like your approach of her needing to get your approval for every major purchase (I presume).

They like white guys in asia for their green card i.e. status. Take away the green card and I'm willing to bet that they won't be so interested anymore.
/r/TheRedPill27/08/14 07:35 AM

Asian women flock to white men in the US because white men on average have higher social status than asian men. Because the US is a white majority country. Go to Asia and you will see the opposite - women prefer Asian men because Asian men have higher status in Asia. While it is true that white men typically have more masculine features, it is just a symptom, not the cause. The underlying reason is that women prefer higher status men.

You're letting your anger get in the way of logical discussion. It's usually the case that there are more men in the top tiers of a given field, but that doesn't mean women are bad at what they do. There are exceptional women in my field that did not get there by sleeping their way up. You are delusional to think that all top tier women get there not by their own merit. Are there more men at top? Yes. Do all women at the top trade their pussies for their career? Not even close. Let's keep it at …

It was you that deleted the post from TRP right? I drafted a reply to you but I was too late to submit. What I was trying to say is that you made the right choice to come for help, change is not easy but it will come. Make yourself the priority, raise your SMV. Improve yourself and subtly let her know you have options. Do not be afraid to let it all go because it wouldn't work otherwise. It sounds counter-intuitive but if you love your wife you have to ready to adopt this mentality that you're r…

I have no experience on marriage counseling myself, but from what I've read so far, 90% of the cases is just the counselor re-affirming the wife's wants while ignoring the man's needs. It always baffled me as to why you want a third party involved in your marriage at all, given that the counselor does not have access to all the information / dynamics of your marriage and most probably would be biased given the limited amount of information based on what you say. Doesn't going on marriage counsel…

I don't think it is that big of a deal personally, but obviously you are bothered by it otherwise you wouldn't ask it here, right? If you are not comfortable about it then you should raise the issue with her. It is not something that you want to compromise if you know you are going to be upset about it every time someone mentions her name for the rest of your marriage.

If we are talking about exposing red pill ideas to the wife, then it is "Show, don't tell". I would strongly advise against telling your wife about the red pill. You gain nothing from doing so and they would resent you for being "manipulative".

I find the old adage "treat them mean, keep them keen" quite applicable in a LTR setting. That is not to say that you treat them like shit, but rather you hold your frame and let them know subtly who's in charge. Never let yourself or your spouse get too comfortable. Switch things up now and then to keep things unpredictable for her.

You're hamstering by believing that your "main" is a plate. A plate by definition is not exclusive. If the plate gets mad at you for cheating, then she does not consider herself a plate. You knew this yourself by going into panic mode because you cheated on her. How the fuck can you cheat on a plate? It is already supposed to be non-exclusive. Man the fuck up and 1) give the "main" an ultimatum to not be exclusive or 2) ditch the "main". Just because TRP is amoral doesn't mean you should operate…

There really is no turning back for him after he showed her the spreadsheet. It's basically a lose-lose because he just proved to his wife that she is no longer attracted to him - and that by itself is very unattractive. A smarter move would be to employ dread game, and if it fails, serve her with an ultimatum. That way he gets the message across without losing frame, which is what he seems to be now by keeping score and appearing petty.

Nice post with lots of solid advice. However, you seem to be a bit conflicted as you say don't rely on trp, yet some of what you say are also contrary to the "traditional" relationship advice e.g. 50/50 relationships. Being Asian in the US is a disadvantage compared to a white man, all else being equal. Emphasis on the all else being equal part. Let's not get too PC here in this sub. I say this as an Asian. Face it or not, US is a white majority country and it's easier being white.

Why not get a new car with lease-option? Even when you get a second-hand car, it's value also depreciates, just slower. With lease-option you essentially rents a car with the option to buy it after a few years (hint: don't). Just lease another new car after that time. That way, you get the drive new cars all the time without having needing to buy them (cars are a bad investment).
