Yes, they should cover abortion services.

They should also cover vasectomies as well. Right now obamacare is required to cover every single form of female birth control that exists. Except abortion But will not cover any form of male birth control. Nothing, not even vasectomy. Obamacare is required to cover Tubal ligation which is the female equivalent of vasectomy. Tubal ligation is also significantly more expensive that a vasectomy.

What Birth Control Is Covered?

According to HealthCare.Gov Food and Drug Administration-approved contraceptive methods prescribed by a woman’s doctor are covered. This generally includes:

-Barrier methods (used during intercourse), like diaphragms and sponges

-Hormonal methods, like birth control pills and vaginal rings

-Implanted devices, like intrauterine devices (IUDs)

-Emergency contraception, like Plan B® and ella®

-Sterilization procedures

-Patient education and counseling

Plans aren’t required to cover:

-Drugs to induce abortions

-Services related to a man’s reproductive capacity, like vasectomies

I see no reason that abortions should be freely paid for by the government, while literal life-saving operations that would mean a person's death if they didn't get it cost money.

In other words, it makes no sense to say to Americans "ok, that guy over there got hit by a car while walking down the sidewalk, so he has to pay out the ass for the surgery to save his life. This girl on the other hand, had unprotected sex, got pregnant and now wants an abortion - the taxpayer will cover that."

I do agree that public healthcare - including free abortions - is a good thing.

But it makes no sense to have free abortions but nothing else.

I think it should be supported for if women want to not have a baby. I don't think men should be a part of that issue. though I also think that men need birth control and the ability to opt out of having responsibility for the child

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I am not going to support the government gun to be used for charity. On the flip side the government gun is already used to support abortions, it is called Planned Parenthood. I prefer to support finiacial abortion for both people involved so that it lower the influence the government has on people's lives.
