It just occured to me, the logic behing alimony is that by getting married, the stay-at-home wife did not develop a career that would get her to where she was before divorce (if I'm correct), so the money helps her while she gets to sustain herself. Then, shouldn't the husband have a right to sleep with her until he is able to date and have sex with other women?

I'm not saying is flawless logic, but it seemed like an interesting comparison to make.

Maybe not sex, but maybe get her to keep fulfilling her duties at home until she is able to not charge the ex husband.
