Women flirting with me has always been a few and far between thing, and women getting touchy freely is rarer still. I had a possible brush in the workplace with flirtyness this week - but who knows.

A lot of posts on here and MGTOW are about women getting away with some pretty blatant, even over-the-line flirting and groping. A common response is to attack the double standard, that a man’s corpse would be hauled before a tribunal to be fired, then added to a government forever-list that forces him to live under a Florida bridge.

Some posts talk about executing a sort of “revenge” against the woman, and sometimes facing confusion and abetting of the transgression by HR or similar due to the gender reversal of the situation.

Some guys might actually feel victimized, for being told by a woman some graphic thing. I’d argue there are other psychological issues causing that critical deficiency in basic resilience, and seeking retribution for a brush or a joke is misdirected, both in its effectiveness, and ethically.

Punishing flirting and joking is a systemic problem. But what is not a problem for me is the flirt, the touch. Even a NSFW comment from a woman is flattering because it shows she trusts me to be cool about it, which means she likes me. Why would I want disproportionate revenge, directed at one woman, when the real problem is a an overzealous HR, media, lawyers, and radicals?

I really enjoy being flirted with. I can roll with any kind of inappropriate comment or joke. I made billions of them, before I clammed up permanently in this totalitarian social environment we’ve crafted to destroy the very best things in our civilization.

Some women like being flirted with too. Some like dark, incorrect jokes, even in the workplace. Individuals’ perverse, disproportionate social censuring of these things is an abuse of power and an inverse form of collective punishment. When a partisan killed a German soldier in WW2, Hitler would round up local innocents and burn them in a church. When I make an edgy crack in a meeting and someone feels “threatened,” or even if they don’t and just want attention or points, HR lauds itself for opposing the patriarchy by destroying me. It’s repressive and evil, especially since it can be done for horrible reasons, like insecurity - you can’t fire me if I’m formally alleging this workplace is hostile.

We should be tolerant and resilient to harmless human behaviours. They’ve redefined words like “harm” and “violence” to include literally any word, or even body language or silence - but it’s not ethical, and it’s not true, and we shouldn’t participate in it. Even if there is an active, obvious double standard - it’s the double standard that’s the problem, it’s not the flirt. It’s okay to like being flirted or joked with. It’s not wrong to do it, even if it is criminalized. Decide for yourself. Insist on possessing a normal level of resilience and basic goodwill towards others. Loudmouths are demanding that people define themselves as victims in these interactions. These are evil people always signalling that they are pinnacle of virtue, and you don’t have to agree with their messed-up ethics.

This isn’t meant to argue that there are no limits. Just that the spectrum between acceptable, inappropriate, and egregious, needs to be rolled way back, and we need to start opposing the insane social rules normalizing and rewarding false victimhood, so that these rules can be dismantled.
