Sophie Walker of the Women's Equality Party is claiming that poverty affects women more, unaware of data from the BBC Data unit showing that it affects men more. Graph shows premature deaths for relative income, lower rank is lower income. Poor people die more prematurely than rich people. Poor men die more prematurely than poor women. The premature death rate of the richest men is equal to the premature death rate of the poorest women. WEP claims budgets are "a woman's issue".
