Hey, I figured this is the best place to ask this question. Just got a new job so for the first time we needed to set up things with the state child support enforcement agency. Here's the problem: I sent in my first payment by check by the due date that they gave me at the court hearing. The next day, I'm informed at work that they have set up the deduction from my check. So today the payment by check is still sitting in the child support account AND now the payment was deducted from today's paycheck which will result in two payments for one pay period being on the account. What can I do to get back one of these payments?
