Can we stop pretending and admit that the human race doesn't have time to wait for these middle eastern countries to evolve into fully functional societies. We have some very serious global ecological and financial / trade problems that will require unprecedented cooperation. Honestly it looks like a critical adaptation point for the human race right now. We don't have time for this.

If you shoot civilians, I say let the dogs eat.

I have absolutely no sympathy for a man who swears to protect his people, and then kills them "because someone told me to do it."

Edit: if this have been Islamic extremists killing civilians, not a single one of you would bat an eye if the populace tortured and lynched them.

But because these are conscripted soldiers that surrendered, suddenly It's a tragedy when they die.
