They can’t allow fair and open discussion, because they know that the facts and reality are against them. They use bans/blocks to restrict available information to readers, as a means of brainwashing. It’s called milieu control

I got banned for commenting on his post, but the mods' reason was a comment that says "he did it" , and after I asked the mods why exactly i got banned they mentioned a post that is 4 months old saying that it's hate speech. The post was removed the second I posted it for not having enough karma. There are others who got banned too for commenting on his post or his comment. But my post wasn't seen by anyone, and also wasn't really THAT offensive.
