Women's weekly "chat magazines" publish a relentless stream of front page headlines and horror stories of brutal rape, torture and child sex abuse, presented for the casual entertainment of women. Stories are deliberately selected that portray men as sadistic, evil monsters who prey on helpless women and children. These magazines are often displayed on the newsagents shelves right next to the children's comics. They sell millions of them a week. This has been going on for over 30 years.
