Never posted here before. Dont really post anywhere unless I'm in my feels. Today I had mediation, concerning my daughter's mother moving her school at the drop of a hat. This was retaliation for me withholding parenting time due to her having contracted Covid-19. She had agreed I was to keep her until she tested negative. She had the virus longer than anticipated and attempted to take her by force, cops and all. 3 days after the incident she removed her from the school 2 miles from my house, and placed her in a school 45 minutes from my house. Naturally I hired a lawyer, filed contempt paperwork, that ended in mediation. On paper it was a slam dunk, she's fucked. Until mediation, she claims I am never with her, i knew about the move and didnt care, yadda yadda. At that point the mediator tells me if i cant disprove everything she has said to totally discredit her that my best bet is to settle. To be honest my time with my daughter was doubled, child support cut in half, I am able to claim her on my taxes( I never have because she wont give me her legal information), and it clearly defines that with joint legal custody she requires my written consent for major changes in her life. It was made very clear to me that my word weighs nothing in comparison to hers. If I CANT prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that she is full of shit, I AM FULL OF SHIT 100% OF THE TIME. A Dads. Dont. Matter. Dont be like me. Even if you are madly in love and you know it is forever, document everything, keep receipts, >>>>>>>PAY FUCKING CHILD SUPPORT IF YOU ARE TOGETHER AND NOT MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!<<<<<<<<<<<< it cost me 8 grand to get to where I am at 453 PM on Friday. And this is only the beginning.
