Double standards

Reminds me of the TV show Humans that took place a world where realistic androids are common place. There was a disabled woman who fell in love with her hunky robot nurse, but had him illegally modified to be more sexually spontaneous. She calls up her estranged husband to deal with the android when he basically tries to rape her, but gets pissed off at hubby when he trashes her artificial lover, and the show portrayed the husband as being in the wrong (the reason they were separated was because of the husbads anger towards the wife's affection for the robot). Meanwhile, another married couple split up because of robot sex. The man suspected his wife of having an affair (she wasn't), and he was feeling horny because he and the missus hadn't done it for some time due to her working hours, so he found relief with the family's sexy robot nanny. Keep in mind, he had no feelings for the robot, as far as he was concerned, she was just a fleshlight with tits, yet when his wife found out about it, he was made out to be a complete scumbag. It wasn't a bad show, but its anti-man stance irritated me.

This has been a common joke though. Dildos and vibrators are one thing, but sex dolls are a whole other deal.
