This would be a document for the ages, so specific things like child support and protection from male genital mutilation would likely be obsolete issues in the future. The law should be broader and based on philosophical principles such as the bill of rights is.

My thoughts are that if it were to have teeth it would limit legislation from being either misandristic or misogynistic, but that because those terms can be so subjective (see: the innocuous things that feminists label as misogynistic), it also has to have a clear and objective meaning as to what it is limiting.

I think I would propose a Goose and Gander article that decrees no law may name its beneficiaries by gender, on the philosophical grounds that the law should be blind and not discriminate. I wonder, though, if there's ever a legitimate time when law needs to discriminate by gender.
