Who thinks "Equality" is affirmative action for women? Also, when I think about "Equality" in terms of jobs, it doesn't seem society factors in what women are really interested in. This is not to say many women are not interested in STEM jobs (highest paying) but it doesn't seem society genuinely discusses the differences in interest based on personality which gender strongly influences. I think women are getting into STEM jobs and other traditionally male dominated fields under the false pretense that they are than "equal" to men. It's bullshit. The women I have seen in these fields are miserable. The jobs are generally not as collaborative and the work-life balance is not great. These are two areas that women value based on scientifically validated studies. The fact that society is encouraging these girls to go against their grain in the name of "Equality" is wrong. It actually takes away women's autonomy and discourages creativity.
