I have a question. I consider myself to be egalitarian. I feel that both men's issues and women's issues to be addressed.

With women's issues, I will start. I believe that sexual harassment against women is a problem. For example, crimes such as rape or stalking should be penalized. Catcalling should be discouraged, however, I am against it being illegal due to First Amendment laws. There should be better opportunities for women to enter higher fields like STEM. I also believe that birth control and abortions are rights, based on a women's freedom of liberty.

On men's issues, I feel there several things needing to be addressed. For example, while women tend to have safe spaces for domestic violence, I feel that is important for men as well. I also believe that we need more funding for men's health, such as for prostate cancer and to aid in male longevity. I also believe that men who face ostracism for being socially awkward need a stronger support net. Many of these men will face low self-esteem issues and possible legal and societal troubles when interacting with women who view them as stalkers or potential rapists.

But going back to feminism. Whenever, I interact or observe most feminists, they are so elitist or narcissistic. Every social media I see is all about girl power or how women are institutionally discriminated against. They then start making statements against people who disagree with feminism with condescension and discontempt. When I have talked with feminists, they said that I should hate those people, but not the ideology. What are your thoughts?
