Historically all social movements start like bull at a gate, then fade out as the public become desensitised to the controversy or repeated events.
That’s not to say they are not super important, but the initial hype train creates emotion and this emotion creates what I call ‘super’ extremists along with many people jumping on the band wagon.
Examples of groups that created super extremists can be found in all social movements and there is usually a targeted minority at the centre. Terrorism, nazis, the holocaust, black lives matter, LGBTIQ+, feminism, even events like covid19 had a target minority.
All of these events have real social movements and i’m not at all contesting how important they all are, but they all have something in common. They fade away and lose support as the general public become desensitised by constantly hearing about new events.
A good example to use is terrorism, in 2011 every bomb in any country was mainstream news for 2 years. Now bombs go off daily in capital cities and they hardly make the paper as we’re all desensitised and the media can’t make money off us viewing this content.
So where am I going with all of this?
Recently I heard about this new ChatGTP AI, the bot that can create an entire story from just a few words and I’ve been using it, on the TwoXChromies forum on a couple accounts I have.
It’s the perfect strategy for us men to desensitise / heal womens reactions to certain events that currently receive a handbrake reaction with a huge emotional outpouring into the TwoXChromies sub. It’s this emotional outpouring that’s creating these extremist feminists, with the thousands of toxic comments and it’s damaging to both men and women.
I’m not saying we should post topics to desensitise rape, sexual assault or physical assault, as that shit is terrible and us men should be ashamed committing those crimes.
But l do believe a story or two like ‘the boy who gave me funny looks while peeping over the fence when I was 18, actually became my life partner’. These stories would help to heal and desensitise the strong feminist push I feel reading any topic in that group.
We know women like funny, romantic stories so we should give them some.. and if you have your own real stories we should throw them in the mix.
It takes 10 seconds to create a 300 word story 👌
there doesn't seem to be anything here
