FRC Yahoo Group

The FRC Yahoo Group was founded on April 13, 2003 and presently has 665 current members. Over our near eighth years of operation approximately 28,000 messages have been posted averaging about 10 messages per day. We are the largest and most active of any state based family law discussion group and have a fairly strong record disseminating topical, useful and accurate information. Moreover, our group is growing at a steady rate and we will likely reach 700 members by the end of 2010. The majority of our members either live in Michigan or have a family law case in Michigan. Although the focus of the group is Michigan, we report and discuss significant national news, laws and events and invite relevant contributions from other jurisdictions for purposes promoting networking, information sharing, brainstorming, comparison, collaboration and other meaningful purposes. From time to time the moderator imposes various policies to insure the group functions well and serves the membership as a whole. The moderator is currently asking regular contributors to consolidate their original messages into one message per day. If you want members to benefit from your contribution, please make an effort to format your messages so they area easy to read or review.

Welcome to the Fathers' Rights Coalition of Michigan! This group is devoted to discussing issues, sharing resources, motivating and supporting parents involved in family law situations in Michigan. There are a tremendous number of resources within this group as well as a great number of experienced and determined parents who desire to preserve and improve the circumstances of their children and their relationship as parents. We generally support all like-minded advocacy efforts at the local, state, national and international levels which strive to improve the circumstances of children and parents.
