Just a hunch, but I am quite sure if you bothered to look you could find examples of boys lacking confidence in the jobs market and also jobs in certain poor countries where men are forced into slavery. However, as an academic there is no money in that. You must find examples of female victims to fit into your hypothesis or it's not worth the time and energy doing the research as your department won't be interested and won't give you any grants. That Oxford is getting into this is very disturbing.
